This is at the draw to the east of Hayashi Shrine.
The tradition is as follows: ” With a big pot a bold man of Futami caught a big octopus that annoyed two associate empresses living in Kisaki. But it escaped. When he slashed it to death here it became a well of Tateishi.” It is said that afterward the well was used for the sake brewing of the village very much.
