People worshiped Nyukuzue Myojin related to iron in the ancient time and Sanno Gongen Shrine after the Middle Ages here. The main building faces due south and the torii looks the beach. In every mid- January the Shinto ritual of the Akashi City Designated Folk Cultural Property ” the Shooting Arrows of Fujie ” is performed at its precincts.
