Akashi Ohashi Bridge built in 1931 is used for Route 2.
It was repaired in 1987 and each of two newel posts was put at Kinugawa Junior High School also the west of the Akashi River. The name of the bridge of the east end newel post was written in Kanji and the one of the west end was written in hiragana.
