This river was repaired to use it as the outer moat ot
Funage Castle. Most part of the river flows into underground drain and the road was built over it. This was a boundary between Akashi City and Hayashisaki Village till 1942. Now this is a boundary between Minami – Oji-cho and Ta-machi after a merger of Akashi City and Hayashisaki Village.
