According to the own history of this temple, Mitsuzoin temple opened in 904 in the Heian period. Once this flourished as the esoteric Buddhism school and was supported by the Akashi domain in the Edo period. However it was destroyed during World War Ⅱ and rebuilt after the war. Now it is Famons for the Big Statue of Hotoku Jizo and Aburakake Jizo.
