Daito-cho , O-machi and Shishinage-cho of Hayasni Village worshiped this Ebisu Shrine. These towns once belonged to the connection of Higashino – cho purse net fishing and were colleagues of the octopus pot fishing. This shrine faces the southern sea. It is surrounded by strong brick walls because it seems to protect against damage by storm surge and so on. People put flowers or sprays ot sakaki into the holes of the wooden floral tribute table . The monument of a prayer for the big catch and the monument of commemoration of renovation stand at the front of the shrine. We know that the locals treasure this shrine when we see block walls and the ridge-end roof tile in the shape of Ebisu.
