The locals compared the main approach of Wakamiya Shrine to Ginza of Tokyo and called it Hayashi Ginza. This street is the center of Hayashi Village and was once bustling shopping street with many shops. This approach is broad in this village but sharply becomes narrow on this side of the beach. The main gate of Funage Castle seemed to be around here.
