12.the statues of Jizo without heads

Two stone works by the roadside are states of Jizo without upper body that were likely made in early modern times.
Both of these were made of sandstone, so the surface of them weathered very much. They might break the upper bodies because of the movement to abbolish Buddhism early in the Meiji period.

No Parking
No toilet

It has been removed due to construction (the relocation site is unknown).
