人丸小学校は明治34年に明石第二小学校として人丸前駅の西側で国道の北に創設されました。大正15年に現在地へ移転されています。石垣を見ると、ここは土地が低く、両馬川が天井川であったことがよくわかります。
28.The empty lot of Hitomaru Elementary School
Hitomaru Elementary School was founded at the place to the west of Sanyo Electric Railway Hitomarumae station and to the north of Route 2 as Akashi Second Elementary School in 1901. It was moved to its present location in 1926. Judging from the stone retaining wall, the land around here was low and the riverbed of the Ryoma River was higher than both sides of grounds.
