34.ここは鍛冶屋町？

本ほん松しょう寺じを南なん下かして旧きゅう街かい道どうと交まじわったところに道標みちしるべがあり、そこに「従これ是より人丸山三丁鍛治屋町丁ちょう内ない」と刻きざまれています。この位置は今では天てん文もん町ちょうですが、古地図では鍛治屋町であったことがわかります。
道標は地じ境ざかいの証あかしでもありました。

34.Is Kajiya-machi here?
There is a stone signpost which was carved “about 330 meters from here to Mt.Hitomaru
Kajiya-machi” at the point where the road from Hosho-ji temple reaches staright the old
highway. The place name is Temmon-cho now but old maps show it Kajiya-machi. The
signpost told the boundary too.
