02.埋もれた宝塔

　小高い丘の墓地で宝塔など古い石造物せきぞうぶつの残欠ざんけつが発見されました。　精巧せいこうに造られた小型の宝塔は鎌倉後期から南北朝前期の頃に造られた石造物とみられています。宝塔は魚住泊うおずみのとまりの改修に関わった西大寺勢力の影響を伝えています。

a hoto or a stone pagoda sunk into the ground

Old stone works such as hoto sank into the ground in a certain grave-yard on the slightly elevated hill. The small elaborate hoto seems to have been made between the second half of 13 century and the first half of 14 century. The hoto suggests the strong power of Saidai-ji temple that related to the improvement of the port of Uozumi.
