13.竜山石の擁壁

藤江の蔵がある邸宅に、竜山石が使われている擁壁があります。　　　
　竜山石は高砂の竜山を産地とする凝灰岩ぎょうかいかんの一種で、石材として加工に適した強度と粘りがあるのでこの地域では側溝や建物の延石のべいし等にも使われています。

Certain mansion has a warehouse and the stone retaining walls built of Tatsuyama stone. Tatsuyama stone is a kind tuff come from Mt. latsuyama, Takasago. It is so tough that they work it into the gutter and the sill of the building around this area.
