この船溜りは、明石に城下町が形成された初期の頃の築港によるものです。その後、港は西へ拡大していきましたが、やがて埋め立てられ、現在は公園になっています。船溜りには季節ごとの船が所狭しとひしめき合っています。
29.boats on the harborage
This harborage appeared when Akashi became a castle town at the beginning of the Edo period and the port was constructed. Afterward, the port was extended west and the original area was reclaimed by the park. We see many boats crowded there in the each season.
