千切とは石や木をつなぐ時、外れないように、蝶型の部材を二つの材料の間にはめ込む工法です。
ここでは波止場の角の石が落ちないように２方向に鉄製の千切が見られます。長年の波に洗われ、今では跡が残るのみです。
