この建物は建築家の岸和郎が設計し、平成15年に竣工、翌年に明石市都市景観賞を受賞しました。子午線のまち明石をモチーフにデザインされており、正午になると床に一直線の光のラインができます。
33.Illuminated meridian
This building was designed by an architect Kishi Waro, completed in 2003 and received Akashi City Urban Scenery Award in 2004. This was designed with “Meridian Town Akashi” motif and you can see a straight line of light on the floor at noon.
