16.路地

大蔵の町には、縦横じゅうおうに路地が張り巡めぐらされています。路地には境界石きょうかいせきや側溝そっこうがあります。　行き止まりと思っても意外と抜けて通れます。互いに軒先のきさきを譲ゆずり合い、隣人りんじん同士の仲が良いからでしょうか。

16.Alley
Many alleys crisscross in Okura town. Each of alleys has some boundary stones and gutters. Most alleys seen to lead to dead ends but when you walk down you find another way. The community here looks good. Their eaves don’t compete against each other.
