39.忠魂碑

忠魂碑は日にち露ろ戦争などで戦死した地ち域いき出身の兵士の記き念ねん碑ひです。この忠魂碑は明石市制の施し工こう直後の大正 8(1919)年 11 月 5 日に起き工こうして、規き模ぼも大きく立派です。設計は公会堂と同じ加か護ご谷や佑ゆう太た郎ろう、書は東とう郷ごう平八郎元げん帥すいの揮き毫ごうです。

39.The Chukon-hi, loyal soul memorial monument
The Chukon-hi is the memorial monument for local soldiers who was killed in the Russo-
Japanese War and other wars. The construction of this great Chukon-hi was begun on 5
November 1919 right after Akashi was recognized as a municipality. This was designed by
Kagoya Yutaro who designed Nkasaki Auditorium and the inscription of it was calligraphy
written by Admiral Togo Heihachiro.
